Atmospheric Pressure Plasma
makes it possible.
Low-temperature atmospheric pressure plasma can achieve sterilization and
deodorization with minimal damage to living things and foodstuffs.
Features of
SUNLINE’s PLASMA RISE.
No need for large-scale facilities.
Plasma can be generated
with any gas.
No vacuum environment required.
Plasma can be generated without a vacuum environment,
and the surface of various objects can be reformed at will.
Temperature-controlled plasma.
Plasma temperature can be controlled at will from sub-zero to high temperatures.
Damage-free.
No electrical discharge occurs even if the object is brought close to it, causing no discharge damage.
Multiple gases.
Stable plasma can be generated with almost any gas.
SUNLINE provides solutions
for all kinds of material
surface issues.
Applicable to various materials such
as polyethylene filter,
highly weather-resistant
fluorine-based fiber, silicon rubber etc.
Low-temperature, high-speed hydrophilization of polyethylene filters.
Polyethylene is hydrophobic, but as a filter, the higher wettability with water is advantageous. Since the wetting spread is greater, it is expected to reduce the amount of antimicrobial agents and other chemicals. In addition, surface modification of the filter itself is expected to immobilize the chemical agent.
Continuous treatment to improve wettability of fluorinated highly weather resistant fibers.
PLASMA RISE can significantly improve the wettability of materials with significantly low wettability, such as fluoropolymers, without hurting their physical properties. Also, elongated objects can be plasma treated on existing processing lines.
Processing on three-dimensional shape is available.
Improved adhesion of silicone rubber.
Plasma treatment can be applied to objects with complex shapes, such as molded parts and tubes.
Materials that are difficult to adhere to, such as silicone rubber, can be surface modified immediately on the spot to improve adhesion.
Utilizing SUNLINE’s
PLASMA RISE.
In addition to improved hydrophilicity
and adhesion,
the possibilities for coatings and
sterilization treatment are also
greatly expanded.
From product development assistance to manufacturing equipment design,
we can meet all your needs.
SUNLINE has been working on the industrialization of atmospheric pressure
plasma since 2010, and plasma-treated products are already on the market since 2014.
We have a wide range of atmospheric
pressure plasma equipment,
laboratory equipment, and extensive knowledge,
as well as manufacturing facilities.
